Mallard, The Vengful Hero
Although Mallard is not the mans name, it is his last name and the name that his partner, Rippley, calls him by. He started out as a dutiful detective for New York City and has long been on the case from trying to unearth the corruption involving William Mars and his ring of assassins. One night would transform him forever as he and his partner chased down a wounded Denrick and ended up crossing paths with the destructive Darius. Attempting to flank the being of the night proved futile and in the end, a bullet shot from Mallard ended up striking Rippley and killing his partner. Mallard has forever blamed both himself and Darius for the death of his partner. Being driven to near insanity, he ironically ended up teaming with William Mars as Mars Corp crafted for Mallard the highest tech power suit available to humanity at the time. Mallard uses his power suit to not only combat the enemies to the country but to hunt down and brutalize Darius for the loss of his trusted partner.

Mallard is capable of flight through jet propulsion systems in the suit as well as superhuman speed and reflexes through adrenaline boosters in the suit as well as greatly enhanced physical strength to near superhuman levels. His key weapon being his gauntlets that channel his psychotic grief filled mind into bursts of chaotic blasts of psionic energy upon impact from a simple punch. The punch capable of turning a sane mind into mush. However, Mallard is no stranger to using his strength to pick up and use artillery weapons by himself.

More often than not, Mallard is the one that always brings the fight right to Darius.
